Cognitive Systems

Research Interests: Three Departments: kinds of pitch perception: Baseball, music, and spatial orientation (each with the central theme of modeling perceptual principles that reflect regularities of nature).

Teaching: Sensation and Perception
Human Factors
Navigation and Perception in Sports
Web Authoring and Design

Research projects
Baseball: Use of group center-of attention as a cue. Robotic simulation of human catching heuristics.
