- Gina Serignese Woodall is a lecturer in the department since July 2007. She received her B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. at Arizona State University. Her primary research interests are gender, the media, and negative campaigns. She has coauthored (with Kim Fridkin) a chapter in Rethinking Madam President: Is America Really Ready for a Woman in the White House? (Lynne Rienner, 2007), a chapter in Women and Elective Office: Past, Present, and Future (Oxford, 2005), and has a forthcoming encyclopedia entry for “Women in the News” in the Encyclopedia for Political Communication. Additionally, she has coauthored articles in the Journal of Politics and Harvard International Politics/Press. Dr. Woodall’s teaching interests include research methods, statistics, American Government, and women in politics.
