Clark Miller is Associate Professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies and Associate Director of the Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes. He also serves as Chair of the Executive Committee for PhD Program in Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology and is an affiliate faculty member in the School of Sustainability and the School of Life Sciences. His research and teaching focus on the institutional and constitutional organization of global governance, with a particular emphasis on the politics of knowledge and ideas in international institutions and regimes. He has written extensively on the construction of knowledge and expertise in global environmental politics. His current project compares knowledge-making and norm-making surrounding global security in the International Monetary Fund, World Health Organization, and International Atomic Energy Agency. His other research includes science and technology policy, the democratic governance of science and technology, and models of knowledge, reason, and rationality, especially as they intersect with democratic theory.
