- Matthew Hindman joined the department in 2004. His research interests include American politics, political communication, and (especially) online politics. Matt received his Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University; prior to joining the department, he was a fellow at the Kennedy School of Government and at Harvard’s Department of Government. His first book, The Myth of Digital Democracy, has been published by Princeton University Press.
