"Advice From a Head"
by Evan Harrison
Buy lowly in a feed of grace it’s said,
sell highly blind and ruby-throated.
Determine loosely enough for the search.
Justify use under the following bridge
to the conquered inland. It goes:
hope little. Use the serrated one for that.
Diversify in the bald patch of some copse
you manage to figure. Really stop cleaning the glass.
Deposit a theory in the gutter, bank or mud.
Haunt that choice. Invest in a voice
from the satellitic clutter and cordon
every hint of longing tenor. Crook and bumble.
Quick tip: exscrounge. Withdraw a monolith, bury it
on paper, so the digger gets dirty and in falls straight. |
