Tom Wayman

Tom WaymanTom Wayman was born in Hawkesbury, Ontario, and lived in Prince Rupert, BC and Vancouver. Wayman holds degrees in English from the University of British Columbia and an MFA from the University of California at Irvine. After completing his education, he worked as a labourer in various industries, and the workplace is a central thematic concern of his poetry. He has held academic positions, including writer-in-residence at the universities of Windsor, Alberta, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Simon Fraser University. His most recent book of poetry, his thirteenth, is entitled The Colours of the Forest.
