MFA Program Overview

The Creative Writing Program at Arizona State University, consistently ranked as one of the top programs in the United States, is interdisciplinary in nature—combining the strengths of two academic departments: English in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Theatre in the College of Fine Arts.

The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing serves and enriches this flexible academic program by offering activities and opportunities that are a complement to the academic Creative Writing Program.
