Singapore

An island nation – and city – at the southern tip of Malaysia, Singapore is a cultural blend of China, India, and Malaysia, with a modern Western infusion, but of course with its own unique characteristics: efficient and safe, lively and cultured, with a diverse arts scene. Over the past four summers, a pair of ASU’s MFA students has traveled to Singapore to help develop the first creative writing program in Singapore, teaching workshops for honors undergraduates and high school students.
