The Lincoln Professors are members of the Lincoln Professors Council and regularly meet with the Center's Director and are involved in advising the Director with respect to programming and related issues in the Center.

Each Lincoln Professor serves as a liaison between the Center and his or her respective college or school. The Lincoln Professors serve as advisors and mentors in their colleges and schools regarding the development and offering of courses containing ethical content in the various disciplines within their colleges. They will teach at least one undergraduate course every semester on ethics in their respective fields.

It is expected that Lincoln Professors will be engaged in ethics research in their fields and that they will be active in campus and community programming in ethics.
