Email an Advisor
Some questions/issues that are not listed above can be answered by an email, please feel free to email an advisor with these questions. ONLY general questions will be answered via email and it MUST be sent from your ASU email account. One of the most popular questions that can be answered by email is overrides, see information about overrides below.

Overrides
Prerequisite overrides are given to students who meet the prerequisite requirements for a Kinesiology course but when attempting to register they are given an error message stating they do not. These students can email one of the advisors and do NOT need to make an appointment.

Information to include in the email:
1.       The course(s) you are requesting a prerequisite override for.
2.       If you are taking the prerequisites outside of ASU, you will need to copy and paste from your community college proof you are enrolled or have completed the course.
3.       Your ten digit AFFILIATE ID number.
4.       The semester you want to take the course.

Overrides for classes that are full cannot be authorized by advisors. Students must continue checking the course to see if a seat opens. A seat will open up if someone drops the course or if the department opens more seats. Students who are not yet registered by the first scheduled day of the class MAY be given an override to enroll in the class by being  types of overrides.
