Hayden Library Judaica Collection

Hayden Library is centrally located on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University, and houses the University's growing Judaica Collection. Acquisitions are made not only as purchases, but also through the gernerosity of donors as gifts and bequests.

The Jewish Studies Program recently acquired the full run of the Jewish Daily Forward, on microfiche. This publication was the predominant daily newspaper in the U.S. Jewish community for many years, and contains important cultural "data" relative to the North American Jewish community that cannot be obtained to such a degree from any other single source.

Other notable acquisions includeThe Zipperstein Collection, The Marvin Fisher Collection, The Norman Drachler Collection (PDF), the Libraries acquisition of the Rothschild Miscellany, and the donation of books from the personal collection of retired professor Eli Kaminsky.
