The birth of one of my art pieces usually starts with an image in my mind. This image will probably become the central figure of the finished work. Be it on canvas or paper, rubber, metal, or wood, I prepare the surface applying texture freely and letting it dry. Color can come in with the texture or later, as I feel it should be.

The rest of the creative process flows spontaneously, unfolding into an array of images that range from abstract to concrete and intermingle giving form to a new dimension.
