Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, American Indian -- Information on P.L. 102-575 that gives American Indian tribes to assume the functions of a State Historic Preservation Officer with respect to tribal lands.

 

Alaska Native Heritage Center -- A gathering place for both Alaska Natives and non-Natives that celebrates, perpetuates, and shares Alaska Native cultures.

 

American Indian Culture Research Center – Purpose is to inform the general public about the world view, philosophy of life, and spiritual insight of Native Peoples.

 

American Indian Heritage Foundation -- Purpose is to communicate to non-Indians the values, customs, philosophies, and special circumstances of Native Americans.

Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, The People's Center -- Information on the tribal museum and on the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d'Oreille culture.

Dream Catchers -- Promotes cross-cultural communications emphasizing social and environmental respect.

 

Eagle Stories -- Collection of Eagle stories and poems.

 

Hopi Cultural Center -- Information on Hopi culture, land, and traditions.

 

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center -- Provides information on the Pueblo communities along with information on the Cultural Center museum, theater, children's museum, and dance programs

 

Indian Village Arts, Culture, and Trade -- Under the heading of Indian Archives, site provides over 600 links to sites containing information on Native Americans, searchable by tribe or state.

 

Institute of American Indian & Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development -- Devoted to the education and development of American Indian Alaska Native artists and to strengthening native cultures.

 

Institute for the Study of American Cultures -- An organization dedicated to investigation of pre-Columbian and Native American cultures and histories.

 

Jim Thorpe Association -- Encourages achievement, health and fitness, and academics to preserve Native Americans' sport heritage and to build pride and positive spirit in American Indian communities.

 

Legends of the Kaw-- Folk-lore of the American Indians of the Kansas River Valley.
