Students who wish to fulfill their International/Internship Experience requirement must first complete the Initial Internship/Experience Questionnaire listed below. As part of the Action Steps (listed on this page) all SGS majors must obtain approval and the schedule line number from the Internship Coordinator. International Internship Experience
Through their internship, the SGS students will experience in everyday life the global processes about which they learn in the classroom. They will develop critical skills to understand, adapt to, participate in, engage in and contribute to situations that are impacted by global processes. Interns currently gain practical experience by participating in one of the following: 1) SGS (or other ASU) faculty-sponsored academic and direct field work courses offered through ASU Summer Programs, 2) an academic and direct internship program offered through the ASU International Programs Office or 3) through a non-ASU-affiliated organization.
