Computer-controlled, double beam, single monochrometer spectrophotometer
designed to perform qualitative and quantitative spectral analyses in the
ultraviolet and visible regions (190 to 1100 nm). Photometric modes include
Absorbance (-0.5 to 3.0), %T (0 to 300%), Concentration, and Single Beam
(energy); up to 6 wavelengths can be specified. Capable of Wavelength Scans
at speeds ranging from 10 to 3600 nm/min with sampling intervals ranging
from 0.1 to 5 nm. Light source switching point (deuterium / tungsten
iodide) is selectable within 325 to 370 nm range. Users can monitor
absorbance or transmittance of kinetic reactions at time intervals ranging
from 0.1 to 100 sec. in the Time Scan mode. Powerful, easy-to-use,
Win95-based software allows users to store methods, generate custom
reports, and create data files that can be quickly transported to MS Excel
or Word. Cell holder will accommodate rectangular cells from 1 to 10 cm
long. Other sample accessories including a 5 position cell changer,
flowcells, an auto sipper, and thermostatted cell holders are available as
upgrades from Hitachi.
