The Computer-Mediated Communication Program
English Department - Arizona State University

Welcome! to the home page for the computers and writing program at Arizona State University. Faculty within the Composition Program in the Department of English at ASU have been using computerized classrooms, networked computers, and out-of-class computer networks to teach writing for a number of years.

Starting with individual efforts by forward-thinking faculty ranging from graduate students on up, the computers and writing program has evolved into a more sophisticated and cohesive effort to utilize many forms of computer-assisted and computer-mediated instruction in the teaching of writing.
