ASU provides McAfee's VirusScan for university students and employees. To download VirusScan go to: http://www.asu.edu/antivirus/

VirusScan is only as good as its last update, so if you need to configure VirusScan to automatically update go to: http://www.asu.edu/it/fyi/comm/antivirus/vs451/vs451config.html

VirusScan's email scan is not enabled by default when you install VirusScan. To enable it, double click on your VirusScan icon in the task bar.

The Properties window lets you change the settings for VirusScan. Click on E-Mail Scan and place checks in the selections shown above.

While you're in this window, you might want to enable the Download Scan and the Internet Filter. Click "OK" and you're done!
