What is a Podcast?
A podcast is simply an audio file (usually WMA, MP3 or MPEG 4) with an
associated RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed. The RSS feed allows people
to sign up to automatically receive new podcasts from your site.

Steps in creating a simple podcast at ASU
