ASU English Home > Computing Support > Workshops and Tutorials > Tutorials > Connecting to your ASU website with Macromedia/Adobe ContributeOpen Contribute, click on Edit > My Connections
Click on Create… You should see the Connection Wizard screen.
Click Next. For Website Home Page, enter the URL of your ASU website. This should be http://www.public.asu.edu/~your-ASURITE-ID. My id is “hiroshi” in the example below. Click Next.
Change the first drop-down to Secure FTP. The server name is general.asu.edu. Enter your ASURITE ID and PWD. Click Next.
Fill in your name and email address. This is really for shared sites when multiple people will be editing the same site. Contribute won’t let you omit it though. Click Next.
You will see a summary of your connection. Click Done.
When you get back to the My Connections window, click Close. Your connection is ready to use!
