After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from ASU, I began working as a Live-In Group Home Manager. I spent two years working with children who were wards of the court, to make positive life choices. While pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies at ASU West, I began teaching courses at the college level. I have a great deal of experience teaching English, Communication, College Survival, Computer Applications, and general studies courses. Before entering my current position, I was the Academic Program Director for the General Education Department at Everest College. I plan to integrate my passion for teaching and learning with my love for ASU, to promote a positive academic experience for ASU students and Alumni. |
