Sheila Luna coordinates the Ph.D. programs in Literature and Rhetoric/Composition & Linguistics, the Master's of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and the Master's programs in Literature, Linguistics, Rhetoric, and Comparative Literature. She coordinates admissions, advising, and funding, and manages a job placement service. She also assists in recruitment of students, manages teaching assistantship applications and hiring, and monitors the progress of nearly 300 graduate students.

Sheila Luna is an Arizona State University alumna and graduated from the College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History in 1996. In her spare time she enjoys painting landscapes and portraits, and playing Bach on the piano.
