Leticia Slabaugh holds an M.A. in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition from Texas A & M – Corpus Christi, where she began teaching as a GTA for the First-Year Writing Program. From 2001 to 2004 she taught Business Writing, First Year Composition and Literature Survey courses at LSU - Baton Rouge. In 2004, Leticia was hired as a member of a curriculum development committee to design, implement and teach a Business Writing course for the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University – Tempe. Her research interests include business writing, basic writing, technology in the classroom and curriculum development.
