My primary research interest lies in the field of second language learning, particularly second language writing. I am also interested in issues related to basic writing and basic writers; in fact, my dissertation looked at how basic writers are portrayed in three premier journals from 1970-1999. My goal is to be a writing teacher who can make a difference in how students learn to write, and I work everyday towards that goal. In my spare time, I like to read, travel and listen to music. |
