Last week, I received the new "View Book," and I wish to thank you and your department staff for this publication. The design and content are laudable. As an ASU retiree, I know what goes into the production of such a publication, as I served as editor for the Bureau of Publications under Dean Smith for more than a quarter century (1964-92). The "View Book" brought back some truly old memories, when I was a student (1948-52). Dorothy Schilling, Collice Portnoff, Ernest J. Hopkins, George Yates and others contributed to my education in English and Journalism. Again, thank you for the booklet. - June P. |
