The Marshall Poet in Residence,
inaugurated Spring 2000, sought to invite a poet of national and
international reputation to campus for a week in the Spring. The
Poet will teach a master class to graduating MFA poetry students,
give a public reading, and mentor a small group of high school
students in the process.
