Hayden's Ferry Review Partnership description

Hayden's Ferry Review is a literary and critical journal of contemporary writing and esthetics. The journal is staffed by both graduate and undergraduate students and is a cooperative effort administratively housed in Student Publications, but affiliated with the Department of English and the Creative Writing Program. Faculty from the Creative Writing Program serve as advisors to the journal.

The journal is published twice yearly, and is therefore constantly active. Students learn about editorial ethics, choice-making, editorial cooperation, professional solicitation, interview techniques, and so on. This work prepares students for either major or ancillary roles in the editorial and publications fields.

The journal was started in 1987, and has since published 19 volumes, showcasing the works of hundreds of writers and artists, including xx. The journal has won a Pushcart Prize, and has been selected by the Associated Writing Programs as a journal member of the Intro Award Series. The journal is listed in multiple indexing sources, and has a good national profile.
