COMPREHENSIVE WEBSITES

  • Latino Links.  This is a comprehensive site with extensive annotated links of interest to Latinos on general topics, arts, culture, entertainment, architecture, beliefs, celebrations, cuisine, dance, music, literature, biography, business, economy, government, law, demographics, statistics, education, history, civil rights, genealoogy, pre-Columbian Mexico, media, current events and issues, and organizations.  Maintained by San Antonio Public Library.
  • Hispanic Heritage.  This is a comprehensive site with extensive annotated links of interest to Latinos regarding heritage.  Topics include art, associations, biography, the border, celebrations, civil rights, cuisine, current events and issues, demographics, faith, genealogy, literature, music, and publications.  Maintained by San Antonio Public Library.


ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY LINKS

  • Latino/Hispanic organizations on campus.  This is a linked list of groups and organizations of interest to Latinos/Latinas on the ASU campus. 
  • The Chicana/Chicano Experience in Arizona--La Experiencia Chicana/Chicano en Arizona.  An exhaustive bilingual website documenting Ranching/Ganadería, Mining/Minería, Agriculture/Agricultura, Organizations/Organizaciones, Family & Community/La Familia y La Comunidad, Occupations/Ocupaciones, Landmarks/Marcas de Linderos, and including References/Referencias.  Maintained by Arizona State Library.

  • Explorando la Red.  Another comprehensive site of links in Spanish.   These are not annotated, but the site names are reasonably self-explanatory, and the categories are clear.   The topics are exhaustive, and include--with many subheadings under these--arte, ciencia y tecnología, ciencias sociales, cine, comida, cultura popular, deportes, economía, empleo, inmigración, internet, literatura, música, noticias, países, salud, recursos generales, and motores de búsqueda.  Maintained by Los Angeles Public Library.
