| We welcome unsolicited submissions. For all submissions: please include your name and contact informaton (email address and phone number) as well as a brief statement about yourself and any previous publications you have had. If work you are submitting to Marooned has been published elsewhere (and if you retain the rights to the work), please provide the name of the publisher so that Marooned can acknowledge them. For e-mail submissions: Please attach your submission directly to the email. We prefer pdf files, but you may also send work as a Microsoft Word attachment. For artwork, we prefer to receive .tiff or .jpeg files, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Don't forget to include the title of your work. Marooned Magazine Response time may take as long as 3 to 4 months, depending upon when we receive your submission and in what phrase of production our current issue is. Marooned does not read submissions over the summer (between May and August). Manuscripts received during these months will not be considered. A Note About Our Website: Obviously we can afford to post certain kinds of work on this website that we cannot publish in a print magazine. Marooned will consider performance pieces and original music submissions. Performance artists and musicians should query us first to discuss the details of submission (along with file formats and sizes). |
