There will be NO overrides for any Upper Division Spanish classes with the following exception:
- Those students who have enrolled in Spa 313-314 and who are heritage speakers of Spanish may request an override for SPA 315 and 316. Please contact Dr. Jabier Elorrieta (jabier@asu.edu) for more information.
All other students should continue to monitor class openings through Sundial and My ASU and add the appropriate classes as they become available.
Notice also that all non-native speakers who have lived for at least two years in a Spanish-speaking country should register for SPA 314, not SPA 313. Please adjust your registration accordingly, also by monitoring class openings through Sundial and My ASU.
If you would like to audit a course, speak with the instructor regarding requirements for receiving a successful audit grade.
Grade Complaints
Grade complaints should be addressed to the Uppper Division Coordinator, Dr. Jabier Elorrieta. The request for a grade change must be in writing (a form will be provided).
INCOMPLETE GRADES will not be given without DOCUMENTED proof of a medical, legal or family emergency that prevents a student from completing the course. No incomplete grade will be issued to a student who is failing a course at the time of request. Students wishing to complete an "I" should NOT register for the course again. Speak to the instructor or coordinator to make necessary arrangements.
Make-Up Exams
Please be aware that no make-up exam opportunities will be provided by the Lower Division Spanish Program. All exam dates are listed on the course schedule. Make travel plans accordingly!
