Objectives:
Students will use the
Internet to visit a web site in Buenos Aires, Argentina and answer
questions about the information there. Students will also write a dialog
using Atajo.
Empecemos:
Paso 1: Open Atajo and type your name, the date, and "Lab assignment Chapter 8" on the top of the page. You will have to switch back and forth between Netscape and Atajo or tile your windows to answer the questions and complete your composition assignment. As always, use complete sentences!
Paso 2: First
we will visit the "9
de Julio" restaurant. 
Please respond to the following questions using complete
sentences.
1. ¿Qué tipo de comida se sirve en este
restaurante?
2. Elige un plato del menú (la carta) que te gustaría
pedir y descríbelo.
3. ¿Y de postre?
Paso 3: It's composition time! You will use Atajo for this composition. When you have finished, print your composition and turn it in to your instructor. The instructor will give you corrective feedback and you will turn in the final draft on the date specified by your instructor. You will write a dialog at least one page in length about the following topic:
Imagina
que vas a cenar al restaurante "9 de Julio" con tu novio/a y que te sucede
alguna anécdota divertida o interesante. Escribe un diálogo
describiendo la situación.
If you finish early, take advantage
of the time to use the Dos mundos computerized book exercises or to visit
some
interesting Spanish sites on the
Web. Just for fun, check out these
sites.
