The best way to learn any language and to become culturally fluent is by immersion. Although Arizona State University does not offer any programs for study abroad directly associated to the Hebrew Program, they do offer a wide variety of opportunities for study abroad in Israel: at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the University of Haifa, and Tel Aviv University. Each of these programs has unique academic features, and each university’s setting offers an opportunity for a particular experience of Israel.
