The School of International Letters and Cultures at Arizona State University seeks pool applicants for Faculty Associate in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Hindi-Urdu, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Vietnamese.
Required Qualifications:
Masters' Degree is required, or Native or near-native fluency in the respective language and relevant post secondary teaching experience. .
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in teaching at the post-secondary level of the language to be taught.
Duties:
Teach Lower and Upper Division courses in their respective languages for 2005-2006 academic year.

General Information:
One semester contract. Number of courses is contingent upon department needs, funding and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based on degree and teaching experience and will be determined at time of application. Hiring range will be between $1000 and $1050 per credit hour.
