Qualification Criteria
You may qualify for the IABC/Phoenix scholarship if you:
- are majoring in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or another communications-related field, and
- will be a junior or senior at the time you receive the award, and
- have a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA) as ASU, and
- are interested in a career in communications
Application Process
To apply for the IABC/Phoenix scholarship:
- Complete an IABC/Phoenix Scholarship application (available at the ASU scholarship office)
- Submit a statement describing your academic and career goals and explaining how an IABC/Phoenix scholarship and student membership in the chapter will help you meet those goals
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, employer, internship supervisor, advisor, or other professional who can assess your academic and career potential
- Attach an unofficial ASU transcript
- Submit the materials listed above to the ASU Scholarship Office in March 2003.
