The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and the ASU Forensics program is pleased to welcome Michael Graupmann as the School's new Director of Forensics. Graupmann is an alumnus of the School, graduating in 2001. He went on to complete his M.A. degree in performance studies in the Theatre Department at the University of Texas, Austin. Graupmann has been at Illinois State University since the fall of 2003 where he was Co-Director of Individual Events and then Director. The Illinois State University Redbird Forensic Squad won the National Forensic Association national championship team sweepstakes award in 2004 in Akron, Ohio. Graupmann will begin his duties as Director of Forensics at Arizona State University commencing August 2006 as a Lecturer, teaching courses and coaching.
