Capitol Scholars Program
This program is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is designed to train future leaders by providing students with hands-on training in the public policymaking process in Washington, D.C. ASU Capitol Scholars identify specific policy problems during a 3-day field trip to New York City before returning to DC to work on creating solutions to these problems in their internships. Weekly classes give Capitol Scholars an opportunity to interact with political leaders and to evaluate the policy process from the vantage points of their different internships. The program is limited to 25 students (undergraduates only).
