Assistant Professor
The Asian Pacific American Studies (APAS) program and the new School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University Tempe invite applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor for Fall 2006.

Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in social sciences at the time of appointment; have quantitave research experience; an active research agenda that focuses on Asian Americans and/or Pacific Islanders; evidence of publication activity; an ability to teach classes in Asian American and Pacific Islander studies.

Desired Qualifications
Include comparative research that addresses, and/or impact research relating to, Asian Americans and/or Pacific Islanders; demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses; and demonstrated potential to secure individual or collaborative external funding. Particular interest will be given to those specializing in health, immigration, demography, or child/family studies. ASU Tempe Campus is a vibrant intellectual community located in a diverse metropolitan area.
