The American Indian Student Support Services offers a variety of direct support services to assist American Indian students. These services listed below are for students’ use to improve academic progress and achievement
Information
The AISSS Blackboard is established to provide information to students, as well as information from students. Students need to visit MyASU.
Guidance/Advising
Students may encounter academic and personal challenges while at ASU. AISSS staff are available to assist students with academic/personal issues, career opportunities, financial aid information and general guidance. For a one-to-one meeting, it is best to schedule an appointment
Tutoring
Tutors at AISSS are available in limited subject areas. See the AISSS Tutoring Schedule. Tutors are also available at other sites. See Tutoring Resources.
Computer Lab
Twenty-four computers are available for student use. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES are a priority when using the AISSS computer labs.
Printing/Copying/Fax Service
Students may print from the computers and copy papers for a nominal fee, but a lower rate than most site on campus. Students may also request to fax documents.
Workshops
AISSS will host workshops on specific topics throughout the semester. Workshop announcements will be posted and on the AISSS Blackboard.
Study Area / Meeting Room
Study areas are provided in the computer lab, graduate support space, tutor center, and the student pod next AISSS administration office.
Graduate Students Office
Graduates students and graduate student organization may use the Graduate Support office for their official business.
