Welcome!

My name is Richard Breuninger and I am the newest member to join the American Indian Policy Institute as the Management Intern.  I am an enrolled member of the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin and I'm Turtle Clan.  I lived and was educated on several Tribal Nations including Mescalero, NM; Eufaula, OK; Whiteriver, AZ; Ft. Duchesne, UT; and Window Rock, AZ., to name a few.  My entrepreneurial and professional business ventures have provided me the opportunity to travel to an additional 63 Tribal Nations and communities.  I graduated from Arizona State University in 2006 and received a BA from the Katherine K. Herberger College of Fine Arts in Studio Art with concentrations in Photography and Painting, and a BS from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in American Indian Studies with emphasis in Policy and Government.  My goal is to attend graduate school at ASU in pursuit of a Ph.D.   I am also a fine art painter and photographer having had exhibitions throughout the Southwest and Oneida, WI.  Please stop by and say hello.  I am located in Discovery Hall 272.

My name is Tiffany Thompson and I am the new student hourly Office Assistant at the American Indian Policy Institute.  I am a member of the Navajo Nation, of the Salt Water Clan, born for the Salt People Clan.  Originally from Leupp, AZ, I have spent most of my life coming from and going to neighboring Flagstaff.  I came to the Policy Institute as an Intern completing hours needed to attend the ASU Undergraduate Admissions Spring Break Tour to the Navajo Nation in collaboration with Dr. Peterson Zah's office.  I was placed at the American Indian Policy Institute to complete my internship and things worked out so well that I was hired as the student hourly Office Assistant.  I am currently studying Political Science and want to minor in Global Studies.  I came to ASU because I wanted to try a place that was wholly different from where I grew up - a rural area on the Navajo reservation.  I'm learning a lot and gaining much experience.  I am located in Discovery Hall 272.
