Dr.Alyssa Robillard Assistant Professor of African & African American Studies Program Phd ,University of Alabama in Birmingham Research InterestsAs a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Dr.Robillard is committed to the process of health education as a way to help individuals make informed decisions about their individual, family and community health.She is interested in research related to adolescent health, HIV and issues affecting minority populations. She has worked on several projects including a multi-site evaluation of the Corrections Demonstration Project which focuses on continuity of care issues for soon-to-be released HIV-infected and at-risk inmates where she coordinated the qualitative evaluation.
