Friends of ACMRS
We invite you to support ACMRS
Friends and affiliates of ACMRS have supported the Center through the years in a multitude of ways, and we thank you for your generosity and your faith in what we do. Every time you buy an ACMRS mug, poster, or publication, pay a registration fee for our annual conference, or make a contribution in response to our fundraising letters, you make possible such things as the publication of one more important piece of scholarship, the visit to ASU of one more scholar to enrich the lives of students and faculty, or the enrollment of one more student in our Cambridge Study Abroad Program.
As the budgetary situation in Arizona and at ASU worsens, your support becomes even more crucial. Limited financial resources currently prevent the re-establishment of the Center's post-doctoral program, which was cut in 1994; makes it impossible for us to publish many of the book manuscripts ACMRS receives; and prevents us from providing more scholarship support to the many students interested in the Cambridge Program.
In an effort to generate more dependable and predictable funding for our programs, we ask you to consider becoming a regular contributor to ACMRS. By signing up for a monthly payroll deduction or authorizing a monthly credit card charge, you can help ensure the continuation and expansion of important ACMRS programs. If, for example, just 50 friends and affiliates pledge only $10 per month, each year we can offer a Cambridge Study Abroad scholarship to one or two more students and subsidize the publication of at least one more book. Of course we are happy to accept any donations, no matter the amount or frequency.
Please consider the donor form carefully, and then please give generously. Gifts to ACMRS may be used to support interdisciplinary conferences, symposia for the general public, Cambridge Study Abroad scholarships, distinguished lectures, ad hoc lectures, visiting distinguished professorships, and post-doctoral fellowships. All gifts will be deposited with the ASU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that exists primarily to support Arizona State University. All monies are being deposited into the ASU Foundation, not Arizona State University.
If you have any friends who might also wish to receive information about ACMRS and perhaps support our programs, please let us know and we'll gladly contact them
