In-class Event Promotion. Tell your teachers and tell your
friends, just remember: networking is the name of the game.
September 13
Resume Deadline. Bring your resume to BA119B. If you do not
submit your resume in time for binding, we ask that you not
bring it to reception on the 25th, the recruiters will not
be prepared to accept these materials.
September 25
COB Recruiter Reception. Remember to wear your best business
casual and come prepared to ask questions and learn.
The Recruiter Reception will be held in the Memorial Union
at ASU's Main Campus. We will be set up on the second floor
in the Alumni Lounge.
This fall the Business
College Council has teamed with Career
Services and other student leaders in the College of Business
to bring you a new type of recruiting event in addition to
the more traditional fairs and information sessions.
We have coordinated
an informal networking opportunity exclusively for College
of Business undergraduate students. You are invited to come and talk to
the recruiters in a relaxed environment.
The recruiters
have been asked to come free of their normal schwag-- no booths,
tshirts, toys, pens, or files. Students are asked to arrive
similarly empty-handed, without their resumes and portfolios.
We are instead building a resume book for interested students
that will be distributed to companies prior to the reception.
We hope that this
event will be a tremendous opportunity for students to explore
their career options and make valuable contacts with market-leading
companies.

Who?
This event is designed to bring recruiting representatives
and College of Business undergraduate students together in an informal environment.
What?
The focus of this reception is on exploring employment opportunities
in a less restrictive atmosphere. The dress for the event
is business casual and we will have refreshments available.
Where?
The event will be held on the second floor of the Memorial
Union in the Alumni Lounge.
When?
Students and Recruiters will gather on the afternoon of September
25 from 4pm-7pm.
Why?
The Business College Council has coordinated this event with
other COB student leaders to provide an event focused entirely
on business students that will allow for a more diverse range
of interaction with firm representatives.
