        Request for Sponsored Event/Project Support

Funding Application 

 

Submit 3-5 pages proposal

Proposed funding include the following:

 

1.     Organizational Background

 

2.     Project Rationale:

§         Target Audience

§         Past outcomes of the event/project if it was implemented more than one year

 

3.  Implementation Plan:

§         Timeline and venue

§         Projected budget

§         Advertisement i.e. e-mails, website and/or listserv are included but not exclusive

§         Target Audience

§         Additional funds or services for the project/event

 

4.   Outcome:

§         A final one-page report must be submitted within 30 days from the completion of the event/project.  Please include copies of all publicity about the event/project.

 

Procedures and Policies:

 

1.     Funds will revert to AAFSA if:

·        The event/project sponsored by AAFSA is cancelled, or

·        The allocated funds are used for purposes other than those stipulated and approved by AAFSA officers.

 

2.     A written request for changes in the allocation of approved funds must be submitted to AAFSA President before the scheduled event/project takes place.

 

3.     Proposals must be typed in final format.  Draft proposals will not be accepted.

 

4.     Proposals must be submitted to AAFSA President at least three weeks prior to the event/project scheduled.
