31With a location just west of Mill Avenue in Tempe, this local Arizona restaurant has become a favorite of students looking to dine on some of the best, and biggest, plates of Italian food around and it is nearly impossible to end your meal without their trademark dessert that will likely leave you a little overstuffed but nothing short of satisfied. 32
As students process through this West Campus landmark at the start of the graduation ceremony, the touching of the gate symbolizes the ways in which ASU has touched their lives as they in turn have made their mark on the university.
33Housed in small enclosures, this comprehensive collection of Arizona snakes and other species is similar to a mini trip to the zoo right at ASU. 34Break up those monotonous, and often difficult, course loads with a class that offers some fun and a potential boost to your GPA. Some examples include: Rock Climbing, Aerobics, Swing Dancing, Puppetry with Children, Racquetball, Poetry Writing, etc.
35You’ll be sure to find the beloved ASU mascot roaming around nearly every sporting event, parade, or any place ASU pride can be found. Be sure to snap a picture with the little devil to forever commemorate your college pride. 36
This vision of ASU students back in 1966 is now home to some of the greatest festivals and events in Tempe. Be sure to spend a 4th of July watching fireworks over the water or attend an outdoor concert on a cool spring evening.
