Celebrate Homecoming Nov. 15
Meet members of the classes who spearheaded Arizona State’s 1958 name-change effort, connect with all that the Alumni Association has to offer you, and give your “next generation” a head start on ASU pride—it’s all happening Nov. 15, when ASU celebrates an extra-special Homecoming.
This year’s Homecoming will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the passage of Proposition 200, the ballot initiative that allowed Arizona State to become a university. The Alumni Association will join the anniversary celebration, as well as offering activities and information for alumni and Sun Devil supporters of all ages.
The association will host a tent at the Homecoming Block Party, which will precede the game against Washington State University, celebrating the historic 1958 ballot initiative and 50 years of ASU achievement. It will also host areas that will introduce visitors to the benefits of joining the ASU Alumni Association, provide fun activities for kids and their families (courtesy of the Sun Devil Generations program), and provide socializing and networking space for the reunion classes of 1998, 1988, 1978, 1968 and 1958.
More detailed information about events related to Homecoming will be available soon.

Class Ambassadors Wanted for the classes of 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998
The success of class reunions rests on the outreach of Class Ambassadors, those who were a part of the university at that time. The time commitment is minimal, the reward is great. If you love ASU, if you’d like to see friends from years gone by and if you’d like to help make your reunion a success, then volunteer to be a Class Ambassador!
Involvement for Class Ambassadors can include any of the following: contact friends from your class, help plan your class social, decide what your class gift will be, and/or suggest ideas so that your class has a special representation in the block party.
If you would like to be involved please click here or 1-800-258-6687.
Class Gift Donations
Ambassadors from each class will help decide what the class gift will be. More information on the beneficiary will be posted shortly.
