The Devils make the trip to Pasadena on Saturday, November 21st to battle the Bruins.  Join hundreds of gold-clad Sun Devils, Sparky and the Spirit Squad as the Sun Devil's get ready for the battle on the gridiron. The tailgate also features special guest speakers including ASU Athletic Director Lisa Love, coaching legend Frank Kush, a complimentary rally item, music, raffle prizes, a cash bar and more.

PENNIES FOR POINTS - STUDENTS WIN WHEN THE DEVILS SCOREATTENTION LA ALUMS – WE WANT YOUR HELP TO RAISE $2,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LA AREA FRESHMEN ATTENDING ASU NEXT YEAR.

This is an EASY way to make a difference in a student’s college life. Participate in the LA Chapter's Second Annual Pennies for Points program, where we ask LA area Sun Devil alumni and fans to pledge their pocket change to support our chapter's Scholarship Fund. The program is as simple as it sounds. You can pledge any amount for each point that the ASU football team scores against its opponents this season, or in any individual game. Or a one-time donation.  Credit cards will not be charged until the end of the season.

Last year your support enabled us to donate over $1,500 to select LA area high school students attending ASU this year and we will be providing 3 $500 scholarships to LA area kids for their Spring 2010 semester with these funds.

Based on last year's 274 points scored, if you were to donate 10 cents per point, your donation would have only been $27.40. If you were on the 10 cents per point plan for the 2009 season, your pledge is 50 cents so far! Fans who pledge 10 cents or more per point scored this season will be entered into a season finale prize drawing.

All “Pennies For Points” donations are deposited into the ASU Foundation Los Angeles Chapter Scholarship Fund and deposited with the ASU Foundation, a separate non-profit organization that exists to support ASU. Your support may be considered a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of charitable contributions.

Los Angeles Alumni Chapter Scholarship – Applications now available for ASU Freshman!
The Los Angeles Alumni Chapter is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for freshmen students of the Greater Los Angeles Area who are enrolled at ASU for the 2009-2010 academic year. We will be granting unrestricted merit scholarships to freshmen for the Spring 2010 semester. We will grant three (3) scholarships valued at $500 each to freshmen and one (1) scholarship valued at approximately $500 to a sophomore. Pat's Run - LA

On Saturday, April 18th, ASU Alumni in Los Angeles participated in a Shadow Run for the Pat Tillman Foundation. While the Pat’s Run was going on in Tempe around Sun Devil Stadium, alumni in LA ran 4.2 miles around the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

ASU CARES Day
On March 21st, the Los Angeles Chapter participated in ASU CARES Day by volunteering with Heal the Bay. Volunteers from the chapter assisted with cleaning up Dockweiler Beach.
