Georgia Chapter Mission Statement – We need your vote!
Thanks to Mandy Carranza we now have a "straw man" mission statement upon which to vote. It is as follows:
The Georgia Chapter of the Arizona State Alumni Association supports the mission, traditions,
and legacy of Arizona State University. It is founded to facilitate and strengthen the bond among
those who share this sentiment and their relationship with the alma mater. To that end, the
chapter sponsors programs that: 1) leverage the Sun Devil Spirit, 2) promote awareness, unity
and pride, 3) foster personal and professional enrichment, and 4) advance the image and reputation of the university. The chapter will conduct its affairs with transparency, equality and in a manner that best reflects the core values of the community, the university, and the alumni association.
We now need to vote on the mission statement, please send an e-mail to Robert Desman at id8@comcast.net stating either "yes" or "no" so we can clear this issue. If you have any suggestions, please send your comments to Robert Desman at id8@comcast.net by February 29, 2008.
