Hello and welcome to the world of the School of Criminology & Criminal Justice Alumni Chapter (SCCJAC). Allow us introduce you to a winning chapter assembled to meet the needs of the SCCJAC community and its stakeholders.
This chapter supports alumni of earlier, current, and upcoming scholars within the School of Criminology & Criminal Justice program at Arizona State University. We are a part of President Crow’s initiatives contained in the New American University College Concentric model. He has rolled out eight emblematic colleges at ASU under this model.
Among our enriching, outreaching and customary events are:
- Initial chapter board development and succession planning
- Monthly meetings held at ASU campus on Thunderbird and community venues
- Dean Hepburn’s chapter Appreciation events
- Annual networking and career exhibitions
-Leadership seminar trainings with the Alumni
- Signature presentations every quarter which act as learning seminars and as AZPOST CE credits; topics are a series on white collar crime, and uncovering police corruption.
- Raising the profile of SCCJAC through fundraisers (high visibility marathons, Commencement Day flower sales), scholarship sponsorships, Campus in-class presentations introducing SCCJAC, alumni night out events such as Murder Mansion dinner theater and performance, graduation class sendoff celebrations, event mailers, participation in homecoming festivities and tailgating events, and a host of other novel and delightful ventures.
