Michael N. Kozicki is Director of the Center for Applied Nanoionics and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. He is also Founder and CTO of ASU spin-out company, Axon Technologies Corporation.

Dr. Kozicki has over 25 years of research experience in solid state electronics and has published and presented over 100 works in this field. His current interest is in devices based on solid electrolytes and he holds several dozen US and International patents relating to this technology. Dr. Kozicki’s previous consulting activities have allowed him to work with clients ranging from governments to large multinational corporations. He has served as Director of the Center for Solid State Electronics Research and Founding Director of Entrepreneurial Programs in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering.

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Kozicki was a Project Engineer with Hughes Microelectronics (now Raytheon) in the United Kingdom. He received his B.Sc. summa cum laude from the University of Edinburgh in his native Scotland and his Ph.D. was gained through research at the same institution. Dr. Kozicki is a Chartered Engineer, a Founding Member of the Globalscot Network (appointed by the First Minister of Scotland), and Honorary Fellow of the University of Edinburgh. for Solid State Electronics Research.
