The University Senate

Welcome to the University Senate Web Page

The University Senate at Arizona State University is the representative body of the Academic Assemblies from each ASU campus, which consists of all tenure track faculty, academic professionals, and full-time contract faculty (i.e. lecturers and senior lecturers, instructors, clinical faculty, research faculty, and professors of practice). The University Senate is empowered in ACD112-01 to "act for the Academic Assembly in matters relating to: academic affairs, personnel policies, faculty-student policies, finances and University services and facilities. This site is designed to provide you with timely information regarding work issues of members of the University Senate and the respective campus assemblies, and to solicit your input and questions regarding these issues. We invite you to communicate with the University Senate leadership through this site or directly with your unit senators at your campus. Let us know what's on your mind.
