Mental Health Emergencies Occurring during Working Hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday)

Members of the university community may call any of the counseling centers and request emergency assistance. See the counseling centers’ Web pages for detailed information specific to Counseling and Consultation at the Tempe campus, the Student Counseling Services at the West campus, the ASU Health Center at the Downtown Phoenix campus, and Student Counseling Services at the Polytechnic campus.

Please note that callers may be referred to EMPACT at 480/921–1006 for after-hours emergencies.


Mental Health Emergencies Occurring after Hours (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, or Any Time on Weekends or Holidays)

Residence hall students should contact a member of the Residential Life staff, who will assist them in accessing campus services. All ASU students also may call the EMPACT crisis hotline at 480/921–1006.

After-hours emergency assistance is available for all campuses. For information specific to each counseling center, see Counseling and Consultation at the Tempe campus, Student Counseling Services at the West campus, the ASU Health Center at the Downtown Phoenix campus, and Student Counseling Services at the Polytechnic campus. For life-threatening situations, call 911.
